Membership to the ASC Power Section is open primarily to Service personnel. We also welcome other members of the public to the club, subject to RNZAF approval and numbers are limited.

The joining process includes:

You need to download the 2 forms on the right hand side of this page and fill them in with your details. The first one is the Club Membership Application Form where you can fill in details of any previous flying experience, licenses held etc. The second form is the Ministry of Justice Security form which needs to be filled in and sent to the club along with the membership application. Please be aware that this check will take up to 6 weeks to come back. This does not however mean that you cannot fly until it has returned. You can still come and fly with us, you will just need to be met and signed onto the base by someone with an ID Card and then you can come and fly.
