Learn To Fly

Have you ever wanted to learn to fly? Training is available at the W.A.S.C. with some of the most competitive aircarft hire rates in New Zealand complimented by a choice of quality instructors.

If you’re not quite sure if flying is for you, then an introductory flight is available, to allow you to experience the feeling of flying but not have the obligation to sign up. However, in order to continue taking lessons through the club, you will be required to become a club member.

Once a member, you will be able build your flying skills up from the basic ‘Piper PA-38 Tomahawk’ trainer aircraft to other aircraft available at the club if you wish.

Under Base security rules every person over the age of 14
will be required to provide either a passport or drivers license
to security at the front gate. A member of the club that
holds a Base security identification card will need to escort you onto Base.
